Our

It is important to us that we clarify expectations before commencing design services. Please take some time to read the way we anticipate we will conduct business with you. Should you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.

 

Our Relationship: We operate an open and transparent relationship with our clients and so it is important that all your requirements are provided to us before commencing design services. We will capture all of this information in a “Design Brief” which we will put together using notes we make during the initial consultation phase and provide a copy for you to check everything is correct. 

 

We will share the brief with you and using our knowledge we will turn your ideas and concepts into a realistic, workable framework for the project, without imposing our own tastes, and taking into account your budget and time constraints. 

 

Our Process: We will meet with you for an “Initial Consultation” to discuss with you your requirements. Once we have ascertained what you are aiming to achieve we will discuss the design packages we offer and determine suitability of our packages for your project.  

 

After this “Initial Consultation” we will take the information we have gathered from you and formulate a design brief. Once we have agreed a design brief we will start working on designs for your project and present these to you within a workable time frame. 

 

If you would like to make some revisions to your designs then we are happy to provide up to two revisions at no cost. After this should any further revisions be made, a fee of £25 per designer hour will be charged.  After we have started creating your designs if you decide you no longer wish to go ahead then you are free to cancel, however a £25 per designer hour fee will be charged for any work we have undertaken. 

 

Our Fees: At Brownlie|Worsfold Interiors Ltd our pricing structure is easy to follow and you will know where you stand. We offer three design packages each tailored to the needs of our clients. Whether it is just a colour and style consultation, or the full works, we have it covered. We will discuss pricing with you during the initial consultation. 

 

Should you choose Brownlie|Worsfold Interiors Ltd for your project then we ask that the first instalment towards the total design fee is paid to us commencing work on your designs. The remaining amount will be payable on receipt of your completed designs, taking into account any revisions you require. We will send an invoice via email for all payments and we would ask that you pay via bank transfer within 7 days of the invoice date. 

 

Any items that we purchase on your behalf we require payment prior to purchase of the goods. We are not acting as an agent for a supplier in any way and your contract under the Sale of Goods Act will remain with the seller. We will provide receipts for goods upon receipt of payment.

 

Our Communications: We will use electronic form for most of our communications with you, so whether it be forwarding you copies of signed contracts, or requesting payment via an invoice please keep an eye on your email inbox.

We will provide you with a copy of our terms of business at the initial consultation and we ask that after the consultation you take some time to read over this document before signing it and sending it back to us. Once we have receipt of this document and your deposit then we will commence work on your designs.
